Dear Fellow Federal Employees:

Like that old adage for TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More couldn’t ring more true than with the recent merger of the Orange County and San Bernardino County CFC campaigns.  I am extremely pleased and honored to not only serve as your Chair for the 2009 Orange County – San Bernardino CFC Campaign but equally thrilled as we take these historic steps together. Our merger challenges pale in comparison to the work of so many of the charities in this year’s charity listing. Our commitment remains just as strong as ever, as we set the bar at raising 1.2 million dollars.

The overall Combined Federal Campaign continues to serve not only many in our own communities but across this great nation of ours.  I take this opportunity to say Thank You to all who have worked to make our past campaigns such a success. You are the truly the engine driving the success of CFC campaigns. 
We are about to embark on the 2009-2010 season. The task before us is daunting, but collectively we can work towards building stronger communities and improving the lives of many.   A contribution through the CFC is a simple gesture that can help many in need. 
Our slogan for the 2009-2010 campaign is iCan – Now More Than Ever!

The CFC program is dedicated to numerous organizations providing assistance in a wide variety of situations. You can make a difference by
directly choosing which charities to support. 
By working together, I remain ever confident that we will not only meet our goals, but more importantly, that we feel good about participating in the CFC campaign.
